Week 11 Blog

In my opinion, a good website is one that is easy to navigate and flows together well. On our website, we want to make sure to include a lot of information while making it look good at the same time. I know that when I visit a website that is not well put together, I don’t spend much time on it before going somewhere else to find information. When watching interactive analysis presentations, I really liked how they kept the user engaged the whole time with moving parts, graphics, and other features. I think putting a twist on graphs is something we could really utilize now because our project will be more data-heavy. I’m glad we captured a lot of photos and videos while we were able to, so we will have some original content on our website. We were also able to get a couple interviews. This week, we started dividing up tasks more specifically because we will not be able to work together in person. We are also going to have to make a new, strict schedule to get this project done on time. I think we are making progress, but we are definitely going to have to speed things up in the next couple weeks.
