A characteristic of a successful team is that they can communicate effectively. Teams that can accomplish this are able to get ideas across to each other and then they are able to build on each other’s ideas. Another characteristic is a hard-working team that knows the deadline for every event and knows that there will be a lot of work ahead and isn’t deterred by it. I believe if we are able to do just those two things then we will be able to be a successful group who makes projects we can all be proud of. However, if a team has bad communication then it will be hard to be successful in anything you do. Like setting up meeting times or completing a project on time. This week I helped the team by talking and filling out our contract. We had a hard time deciding on what day to meet because we all have busy schedules but we were able to agree on meeting Sunday or Wednesday night for about an hour or so. I am not sure if I would do anything differently because we can’t control other people’s schedule and I thought it was something we effectively worked around.
