Brynne Baird Week 2

During our first meeting, we talked about a couple different things. First off, we made a GroupMe, so we can stay in communication throughout the project. Next, we talked about the project and what we could potentially do it over. We also talked a little bit about what times may work to meet up throughout the semester. One thing I think that could be made into an interesting project is talking to someone or a group of people who isn’t from Nebraska. Potentially, we could talk to them about what stereotypes we have about where they live, and they could tell us about what they think of Nebraska. I have always been interested in hearing about what people who aren’t from the Midwest think about Nebraska. We all have bias and stereotypes even if we don’t mean to. We could even try to find someone who isn’t from the United States and dive into what their thoughts were before they came here. A challenge for using this idea could be finding someone who would be willing to talk to us and go into depth about what they think. Another challenge in this idea may be finding good times to talk to this person or group of people.
